Self-measurement at home

Measure yourself in 15 minutes. We do the rest.

One tape, one mirror, one well-fitting shirt as reference. We send a guided video walkthrough. A real Nathan Tailors atelier rep in Hoi An reviews every measurement before we cut a thread.

How it works

Four steps. Fifteen minutes of your time.

Step 01

Open the measurement form

Click the button below. The form is secure, mobile-friendly, and saved as you go — you can pause and resume anytime. We send a short video walkthrough by email so you have the visual guide on your phone.

Step 02

Measure one part at a time

Chest, waist, hip, shoulders, sleeve, neck, inseam, thigh, bicep. Each measurement has a 30-second video showing exactly where the tape sits and how snug to pull. No special tools — a soft tape measure and a mirror is all you need.

Step 03

Human review (this is the important part)

A Nathan Tailors atelier rep — a real person in Hoi An — reviews every number you submitted. If anything looks off, we'll WhatsApp you and ask for a re-take or a quick photo. This is the discipline that keeps fit problems from becoming tailoring problems.

Step 04

We cut and ship

Your reviewed measurements go to our cutting room in Hoi An. The suit is tailored, hand-finished, and shipped worldwide via tracked courier. About three weeks on the bench, one week in transit. Four weeks total.

What we ask for

The nine measurements.

Chest
Waist
Hip
Shoulders
Sleeve
Neck
Inseam
Thigh
Bicep

Plus a few preference questions: how you like trousers to break, how loose you like the fit through the chest, whether you have any asymmetries we should know about. Five minutes of questions, ten minutes of measuring.

Why we trust this process

We've been doing this for 20+ years.

Nathan Tailors has been tailoring in Hoi An for over two decades. We started building our remote-measurement workflow years before "online custom suits" was a category most tailors would touch — initially because customers visiting Hoi An wanted to re-order from home, then because the system worked too well to keep regional.

Every measurement that comes through our system is reviewed by a human before it touches the workshop. If the fit's off when you receive the suit, we remake it free, or credit you for a local alteration. That's the trade we make for the price difference.

Ready to start measuring?

The measurement form lives on the Nathan Tailors site — our parent atelier and the operations backbone. Same team, same workshop, same humans reviewing your numbers.
